Cryotherapy After-care Instructions
Cryotherapy works by using extreme cold (in the form of liquid nitrogen) to destroy a variety of skin lesions including benign growths and pre-cancers such as actinic keratoses.
Aftercare Instructions
Cleanse the treatment area daily with soap.
Leave the area uncovered.
If a scab forms, apply plain Vaseline ointment until healed. The treated area should heal within 10-14 days.
Once your skin has healed, use a sunscreen with SPF 50+ to prevent lasting skin discoloration.
*You may use your normal skin care products such as moisturizer, make-up, suncreen etc.
